Privacy policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Thazen, LLC ("Thazen," "we," "us," or "our") operates the public marketing website at www.thazen.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information in connection with the Site.
This Policy covers the Site only. Use of Thazen products or professional services is governed by a separate customer or teaming agreement, not this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. If you submit the contact form on the Site, we collect the first name, last name, email address, phone number (if provided), organization, and message you enter. We use that information to respond to your inquiry, for related business communications, and for the marketing emails described below.
Automatic technical data. The Site is hosted on AWS (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). AWS may process standard request logs needed to deliver and secure the Site (for example, IP address, user agent, and request timing). We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data about Site visitors.
Cookies and tracking. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. We do not sell personal information.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to contact and partnering inquiries;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- communicate with you about Thazen when you have contacted us, including occasional marketing emails;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
If we send you marketing emails about Thazen, each email will include an unsubscribe link, or you can opt out by emailing hello@thazen.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not stop us from responding to your inquiry or sending transactional messages related to a request you made.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share information with:
- service providers that help us operate the Site or handle email (for example, AWS for hosting and delivery, and any email provider that receives form submissions routed to hello@thazen.com), under instructions that limit their use of the data;
- professional advisors, or as required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.
4. Retention
We retain form submissions for 12 months from the date of submission, and then delete or de-identify them, unless an active business relationship or a legal obligation requires a longer period. AWS request logs are retained according to AWS defaults and our account settings.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended) may give you rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a denial. To make a request, email hello@thazen.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The Site is directed to a U.S. business audience. We do not target the Site at individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland for GDPR marketing purposes.
6. Children and age
The Site is intended only for business professionals aged 18 or older acting on behalf of an organization. It is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it. Contact hello@thazen.com if you believe we have collected such information.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. International access and export controls
The Site is operated from the United States and is not intended for, or offered in, every jurisdiction. Access from certain countries is blocked. You may not use the Site if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or if you are on a U.S. denied-party list. You must comply with applicable U.S. export control and sanctions laws.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page.
